You must be admitted to ACC to have an official transfer credit evaluation. To have your transcript(s) evaluated, order your official transcripts and have them sent DIRECTLY to ACC from each institution(s) you attended prior to ACC. *Hand-delivered transcripts will not be accepted as official for transfer credit evaluation purposes.

The College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend is the Colorado contribution toward the resident tuition rate. To be eligible for the COF stipend, you must

• Complete a one-time COF stipend application with
• Authorize the COF stipend each semester
• Be eligible for Colorado resident tuition

If you need to update your social security number, legal name, or date of birth, you will need to complete the Student Demographic Update Form. If you need to update your Preferred Name, email the request to records [at] arapahoe [dot] edu (records[at]arapahoe[dot]edu). You can update your personal email address, physical address, and phone numbers in .

ACC provides enrollment verifications through National Student Clearinghouse, accessed through the Enrollment Verification link in myACC. Semester enrollment verifications are available one week after the semester census date and updated monthly throughout the semester. Final semester enrollment and degree verifications are available within four weeks of the semester end. ACC does not provide pre-enrollment verifications due to the registration fluctuations prior the semester census date.

Under the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the information in a student’s file may only be released under specific conditions. ACC may disclose directory information any of this information without prior written consent, unless notified by the student in writing.

The Authorized Release of Information (FERPA) provides the opportunity for students (current and former) to grant approval to provide information regarding academic records, letter of recommendation, and reference. It is only valid for a year and may be rescinded at any time. The Authorized Release of Information (FERPA) only allows for release of information, it does not allow for academic changes.

Current students complete the Authorized Release of Information (FERPA) in myACC; former students will need to email records [at] arapahoe [dot] edu (records[at]arapahoe[dot]edu). Students will need to upload a valid state-issued Driver's License or valid state-issued Photo ID card.

Background investigators must schedule an appointment with Records and Enrollment Services in advance. We do not accept on demand records requests.

Students wishing to earn a degree / certificate that appears on a transcript and receive a diploma, must submit a graduation application. The graduation application is free of charge. You can find the graduation application in your . Login, go to the Student page, find the Student Forms card, go to Records & Registration Forms, and you'll find the Graduation Application form. You must be a current ACC student with an active academic program to apply for graduation. Graduation application deadlines are:

• Summer: June 30
• Fall: October 31
• Spring: March 15

Applying for graduation or degree / certificate conferral is not the same as a commencement ceremony; students who apply for graduation may / may not attend ACC’s commencement ceremony in May. If you wish to attend ACC’s commencement ceremony in May, you should complete the graduation application and then follow the steps outlined on the Commencement web page.

ACC degree / certificate conferrals take up to 3 weeks after the semester grading deadline. You will receive an email notification once we confer a degree / certificate; you may order an official transcript after receiving email notification. Diplomas are mailed to the current address on file and take up to 6 weeks after semester grading deadline.

Students utilize Degree Check, ACC’s degree audit system, to help identify degree / certificate requirements and progress toward completion. Degree Check shows completed course work, whether taken at ACC or transferred, and remaining courses to complete. Students may run a “What If” degree audit in Degree Check to show required course work in the hypothetical degree / certificate. Students access Degree Check in .

If you want to update your major, you must complete a Major Change Form (). Major changes or additions must be made prior to the semester census date (drop date); major changes or additions requested after the census date will be made effective the next academic semester.

Before changing a major, it is recommended that you consult with your academic or financial aid advisor, as changing majors could delay graduation and impact financial aid eligibility (Course in Program of Study). If you submit several major changes, you will be advised to meet with your academic advisor.

You may run a “What If” degree audit in Degree Check to show required course work in the hypothetical degree / certificate prior to submitting a major change.  

Students may view semester grades in through either:

• Academic and Degree Planning > Unofficial Transcripts
• Student Grades & Records > Final Grades. 

Once a faculty posts a grade, it should be viewable in myACC within 24 hours. Do not order an official transcript until you see the grade posted on your unofficial transcript.

Only current ACC students have access to unofficial transcripts. Former students needing access to academic records must order an official transcript.
